COVID-19 Information
Dear Cottage Grove Animal Hospital friends and family,
Cottage Grove Animal Hospital intends to do all that we can to minimize the risk of COVID-19 to our clients and staff. We are following the recommendations from the CDC, AVMA, MVMA and state guidelines as well as other organizations. With public transportation decreasing COVID requirements per CDC guidelines, we have decided as a group that mask wearing is no longer required within our facility, but optional for staff and clients. If you would like us to wear a mask while in the room with you and your pet, please let us know and we will do so. If you do not want to come into the building with your pet, just let us know and we will accommodate that request. Due to limited space in our facility, and the amount of traffic that we see, it is still safest for all staff and our community to continue curbside service check in.
We are currently asking the following:
- When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, please pull into one of the marked spaces, or between them if space is limited, and call our main line @ 651-768-0200. Please be patient with hold times – we are experiencing longer than usual hold times due to the increase in phone traffic.
- One of our receptionists will get you checked in and verify the best phone number to reach you at during this appointment as well as what spot you are parked in.
- A technician will call you with any questions and admit you and your pet into the clinic.
- For food and medication pick up:
- Please call ahead to have your items set aside – again please be patient with hold times – we are experiencing longer than usual hold times due to the increase in phone traffic.
- Call our main line when you arrive and we will take care of payment over the phone then bring the items out to your car.
- Please alert our staff if you have a fever, cough, headache, flu-like symptoms or if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or have traveled outside of the United States in the past two weeks.
